This phone's battery life has SIGNIFICANTLY dropped to almost unusable standards after the OTA 5.0.2. I uderstand that it now runs on ART instead of DALVIK. From my research in the past and with my NEXUS devices, it actually has been proven that ART increases battery life. I also understand once a phone receives a major OTA such as this, the kernel needs a few days to "settle in." I have given it many days, and the BATTERY LIFE IS HORRID. EVEN the CHARGING rate is SLOWER. WE MUST GET TOGETHER AS VS980 OWNERS (LG G2) and VERIZON MUST ACCOMMODATE US!!!
You sound like you might know your way around a smartphone and also know that apps previously on DALVIK would have to be optimized for ART, so I assume you factory reset the G2 preferably before the update or at least after the update.
