No solution. But if your up for it, you can disassemble and see if its a loose cable in phone.
My phone was doing the same thing and went totally black. If you shine a flashlight on it you can still see the screen, so that makes me think its either a bad inverter, bad bulb, loose cable or possibly a bad solder. I tend to think its a cable issue. I have not had the time to take disassemble my phone yet, but I plan to.
