How do I set the text to be larger

Just got this phone hope it is the right choice.  I need the text larger and the manual does not have that information. Can you help me?

I just got the Kin Twom and do love the phone, but I was wondering if there will be any updates for enlarging the font. If I don't have my glasses close by, I'm in trouble. Otherwise, I love it.

Adjustable fonts have been a popular request for the KINs. At this time there is no news of any future updates for KIN, which will enable you to change the font size. Thanks for your post!

I tried to register at that site to add another voice asking Microsoft to offer an update for adjustable fonts. But to register at that Kin forum you have to first create a "Windows Live ID", so I gave up.

Verizon employees at another forum said that Verizon takes very seriously customer comments that are left at that survey webpage.

Also, after you've received a text message, the Kin Twom uses a light gray colored font. In my opininion, this could potentially compound the difficulty for some people for reading the tiny font.
