My jet pack does not update.  When I follow the directions to update the device it stops and I get a message that says the connection was interrupted.  When I go the device I had to take it to the store because it wouldn't activate.  The guy at the store said he had to update it using another wifi and then activate the mifi.  Does anyone know how to connect the mifi to another wifi so I can update the device?

Updating to the latest software is always essential. You've come to the right place for help. Besides not being able to update your software, how is your data connection working? Have you followed the steps from the following link https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-220985/

If so, at what point do you get that error message?

I have followed the directions. I even took it to the Verizon store yesterday.  It tries to but then the error says it was unable to connect and I should check my connection.
