my ellipsis jetpack is randomly shutting down, had this since november nothing has changed it was working fine.

Check the logs on the Jetpack after signing into the admin page. See if there are any more details as to what could be causing the Jetpack to power off and share them with us.
Hardware problems will have to be serviced by VZW under the remaining warranty. Service problems might be fixable depending on what is happening.

I own the device and have had others that did the same after many months of use. This jetpack is not used much, and now that i need it falls off of conection. Is there a software update...

M, I used .50 GB over the years (60GB a month) that I had it. I had VZN take it off my account...
