Removing battery and putting back in worked for me also. Thanks to all who posted this solution!

I unplug the Jetpack from the power source, then remove and replace the battery. This works for me.

Same here...pulling the battery out...then reinstalling fixed the problem

Mine too went black after charging so I did use the Adm. to restart it. That seemed to work and the screen showed the normal info. but after 10 secs. or so went black again. The unit seems to be working but why the black screen again?

I tried the restart which for a short time lights the screen but then after about 15 secs. goes black again.

We want to make sure you can use your device. Have you tried the admin page or removing the battery? Is there any damage to the device?
