I am moving to a mobile home that I am told does not have good internet or phone service. Can I use the wireless jetpack as a complete replacement for home internet service? I will need to use it for my work from home for sure and possibly instead of cable tv as well.

Thank you for your interest in our products and services DORGLO81. I rely on my data services every day, so I know how important it is to ensure you have reliable service. While the jetpack can be used for internet connection on a daily basis. It is not recommended that you use the Jetpack as a replacement for your home internet service. With a jetpack, all data used would deduct for your plan allowance. Verizon sells more appropriate devices called LTE Internet (Installed) and LTE Internet and Home Phone that are better suited for the task of home internet service. More advanced options are available from places like the 3Gstore.com.

Remember that the data used will count against your monthly allotment. Verizon Wireless no longer sells unlimited data plans and it's data services are not really intended to be used as a substitute for wireline delivery. People who have grandfathered unlimited data plans are seeing rate hikes, and, in some cases, are being moved to one of the current metered plans.

What kind of unlimited plan do you have? Nationwide unlimited or one of those new “unlimited” plans?

Angiegrove, we understand the importance of having Wi-Fi access. Our jetpacks will work on computers and Firesticks. However, the jetpack will have a data allowance of 15GB or 30GB depending on your plan. Therefore, the data would consume rather quickly.
