To answer your question, yes you can leave it plugged in for 6 months. 

However I highly recommend against it.  Jetpacks are not intended for an always on or 24x7 connection scenario (which is why you would normally want to leave it plugged in).  Jetpacks are temporary internet connection devices best suited to be powered up, used and powered back down again until its needed.  Using your Jetpack outside of its design specs will lead to early deterioration of the device and its battery resulting in a quicker replacement.

Curious as to why you said 6 months? And probably not. I wouldn't do it, I don't recommend leaving anything plugged in for that long straight.
