Given the data cap on Verizon's "unlimited" data plan, I would love to be able to limited the 4G data usage at the hotpot level, but I dont see any way to do this. For example, even though I might have the full bandwidth of the 4G network available, would love to tell the hotspot to throttle the bandwidth (at the 4G level) in say 1 Mbps increments in order to converge the data cap until it resets.
I don't see any way to this on the MiFi 7730L, but maybe someone has an idea. For various reasons, it's not practical to do this at the device level, which it would be nice to do at the hotspot, which is something you can do with many traditional wifi routers.

Don't you mean conserve the data?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
