If I turn my phone to airplane mode and turn on WiFi calling, can I call or text from Jamaica to the US without additional charges as long as WiFi is available?

This is a great question and we're happy to help. Theoretically yes, you would be able to do so. However, WiFi will disable all radios on the device so be sure to check that your cellular data connection does not re-enable when enabling WiFi. You can also test this using an available WiFi connection prior to your trip.
