I bought a one month travel plan before traveling to New Zealand. I took my DJI drone with me to capture the beautiful scenery but was unable to use my phone to communicate with the drone as the WiFi was blocked. I checked with the NZ phone company to find out if it was there fault and was told NO. They stated that it was my home provider (Verizon) that had done this. The reason is that you cannot connect to a WiFi network for data communication and are forced to use Cellular data which they can charge an exorbitant fee if you use over the allocation.
