Acraigl for the mail reply problem this is another app update causing it.
Go into app manager and uninstall the updates for Android System Web View.
You will then be able to reply in the mail app again.
Also go into the Play Store and uncheck the auto update for Android System
Web View.

Same issue here to after upgrade to Android 6.0 yesterday on HTC One M8. Tried all the usual fixes but the HTC apps still want to update in the Play Store but they don't work. Other apps update just fine.

Thanks for the webview info. I was aware of that but was hoping that the HTC mail update would correct it without disabling webview. Hopefully we get to find out at some point 😕

Along with the aforementioned HTC apps, add Google Photos to the list of apps that won't update. I just updated several apps this morning and Google Photos got the same error as the HTC apps do.

Exact same issue here. Considered removing HTC service pack update to no avail.

Count me in on this as well. Contacted HTC support who told me the error I was getting was a Google Play error. Contacted them and was told it must be something with the Verizon update package. Told me my only option would be to reset to default. Not ready to do that.

David_W We want to help get you phone working as it should. Please tell us what steps have you already taken. Have you unchecked the auto update for Android System in the Play Store? What specific errors are you seeing?

Just tried the "update all" a couple more times and now all apps have updated.

Same problems as everyone else. I'm also hoping the mail update will allow me to update Webview.
