Stopped switching to dock mode after working fine for months

I got my Rhyme in August and have never had a problem with it. I really love it. Every night I set my phone into the dock and turn on the music player. Well last night I put it in the dock and it started charging and turned on the bluetooth but would not actually switch to dock mode. I was able to play my music through the dock speakers fine, but no dock mode. I use my Rhyme as my alarm so I really want this to work again,

I'm sure you want that dock to work again. It is such a beautiful phone that happens to come in my all time favorite color!
Have you been able to troubleshoot since you posted here?
Something I would like for you to try is a soft reset http://bit.ly/SyarKn. Once that has been done, are you able to get it into dock mode?

I tell everyone, that instead of shutting down the phone, try using the restart function and see if this fixes it.
