I've had my HTC Rhyme for a year now. Up until last month it worked flawlessly. Suddenly it will no longer connect to Dock Mode. I've checked everything that I can and have figured out the following:
1. The phone still charges when resting on the dock.
2. Dock Mode works when I enter into it manually.
3. The dock is still listed under my linked bluetooth devices.
4. The dock will not connect to the device when resting the phone on the dock.
As far as I can tell, the phone is not connecting at all to the dock but it is still getting the charge. I can't find any other topics with this specific problem and was wondering if anyone else at all is having the same issue?
I recently started having this problem. I can't get to the alarm on my phone or even the dock option manually. However it does still charge like yours.
I took my docking station over to my boyfriend's house. It worked there. So I put it in a new spot at home, after straightening the cord. It works now. Weird but it works now. Try it, it may work for you too.
