Need Verizon to unlock my phone (in Ireland) and their chat mode not working.@
Let's get your service working in Ireland, SeamusKeleher! All 4G phones come unlocked already. Are you trying to use VZW Global service on the phone, or another carrier's SIM card? To use Globally, please go to Settings> Mobile Data> Preferred Network> select GSM/UMTS. If phone has a Global SIM activated, this will allow you to use the phone.

I thought about that but did not.
I had the SIM card switched by a provider here in Ireland,
but unlike last December, it was not working or connecting/roaming.
I'm using an inexpensive phone now with just texts and calls.
