Depending on what you have now, you may be able to sell it somewhere (eBay, etc) and it won't exactly be getting a discount on the new phone, but essentially it'll have the same effect. People still want Droid X's and Droid 2's that couldn't get them because of their contracts. They'll probably be willing to pay somewhere near the in-store 2-year price for a phone in good condition.
