ICS update, now my phone wont ring

It shows on the display , but there is no sound. I have maxed out the vol , checked ring tones, all looks fine but I get no sound when someone calls.

I am having the same problem. Also my alarm won't sound...causing me to oversleep

This is quite bizarre. But hey, we've got to get you back up and running so you can actually start hearing your ringtones and notifications again. And I've got just the tools to help out.

Of course, I appreciate you having maxed out the volume and checking ringtones which would have been the first step. Next, we'll want to proceed with a soft reset (simply turn phone off) and pulling of the battery. When that's complete, power back on your phone and give it a shot. If it still doesn't want to comply, we'll need to go forth with a hard reset http://vz.to/rlYXKN . Be sure to backup your information first so we don't lose anything.
