HTC touting Rezound ICS update, but where is it? http://phandroid.com/?p=98753
maybe this is their subtle way of saying "leave us alone and take it up with verizon. we've done our part."

From what you are reporting the update may be on the way, every time I received a update I noticed that the "Check Update" option does just what you guys are reporting..
Cant wait to see how this update goes for you guys..

ditto wildman. i would also get the server busy message, or it would just do nothing and go back to the screen. also, when there was an update that i knew was already rolling out on my tbolt, this was happening, and i saw a few people mention putting it on 1X. i did and sure enough, the update showed up and i downloaded it (albeit at VERY slow speed....lol). there's a tbolt update thread here somewhere, that's about a year old where that worked for 3 or 4 of us.

Maybe Verizon sent the email to HTC instead of Motorola by mistake saying they were ready to push the update.

With HTC letting the cat out of the bag and several news outlets carried the story, Verizon might as well release the update. Delaying now can only result in negative pr. Also negative karma for Mr. McAdams and Mr. Shammo. They are going to have some serious dealings with a Naughty & Nice Accountant to stay off Santa's Naughty List (its an inside joke... lets see who gets it).
