Thanks.
But, I just got my answer.
I was in the middle of a call to a friend about the coverage issue.
The person on the other end commented how clear the audio quality was from the ONE, and if they're going to be building new towers that I may as well stick with AT&T.
Within minutes, I started fading out of the conversation so he could not hear me.
Then it allowed me back into the call and then out again. Then it dropped.
The same thing happened in a call yesterday when I was on the road.
So, my friend said it perfectly.."I think this answers the question. Get back to Verizon! You don't want to put up with 2 years of that .....!"
so, off I go to Verizon. Port my number back and hope like you guys that the One is coming, though like I wrote..There's a 99.9% chance that it is. Then a drive to AT&T to get my money back,
They are such a poor carrier in some places, it's pathetic!
So, I'll be waiting again like you guys..

Yup that's the Best thing to do having a Nice Phone isn't all of it and i'm a assuming it is a Very Nice Phone but if the Coverage is so bad you can't Enjoy it. It's best to move away from it. b

ATT coverage is pretty good where I live so I dont think I will regret changing. I work/live within a 30 mile radius from Raleigh. Their coverage map is promising.. I would just rather stick with VZW for a few reasons.. one being that I get a 21% discount for being a GM employee. Still hoping, praying and checking Google daily for info on this phone. Thinks look to be going in the right direction. Contract is up in June so that May 22 announcement will either be my saving grace or the nail in the coffin.

I don't think these maps for VZW are very accurate because in the area of NM where I live does not show 4G/LTE we have VZW 4G/LTE for several months now and I see other places that shows 4G and they did not have it when I was through there last week and I just 2 days ago.

oh yeah... If the coverage here was even half-way decent, I would never have looked back.. but it was beyond awful. Damn, I hated giving that phone back, but hopefully I'll have a Verizon version soon..they better carry it!
Sprint's coverage out here is even worse, and T-Mobile has nothing out here, so I'm pretty much stuck with them for a while. I miss my phone.... but so glad to have 4gLTE coverage and bars on my phone again!

smart move man, I waited as long as i possibly could then went to costco last week when they ran an additional $30 off the 32gb version at $129 and bought a secondary line just so I could experience the dang thing! And while the phone is pretty slick, the network is crap. So nedless to say I will be returning inside 14 days and getting all but $35 back for restocking. I really hope we get lucky and are offered a 64gb deleloper edt that wprls on verizons LTE.....
That would make are this ridiculous wait well worth it!!!!!
Otherwise at least a 64gb version with all the usual verizon bloatware and locked down network and it will seem all normal I guess???? lol

My bet is that they do make some sort of announcement and I pray that it will be the 22nd, but we wont see a launch until mid june or later. By then rumors will already be swirling about the Butterfly 2 and other devices with the 800 snapdragon and 3gb ram with upgraded gpu's and better cameras, as well as wireless charging and waterproof casing like the dna has. Its really sad to see how slow verizon moves compared to att when it comes to new device launches.

Nneptune.....I don't want to damper tour plan, but you mentioned getting your unlimited data back (way back towards the beginning of the thread) when you switch back to Verizon. How do you plan on doing this since you already cancelled your plan when you ported your number? I hate to point it out, bit you won't get the unlimited data back.
