Got the Gingerbread update

I checked for the update last night after 11PM EST and had it, so far it works fine for me...I have noticed I am able to better text and not have the words get all messed up even if i pressed the space bar

Has anyone installed the leaked version .2 and was able to get the newer OTA .3?  I havent and want to know if i have to go download the RUU.

Most likely no since they usually only supply update paths from the latest "official" release.

Is it being rolled out to everyone at once or in stages?

I'm getting "No New Software Update Available" when I do Check New.

"supoesedly" this one was supposed to be available immediately, to everyone. something to do with how they pushed it...and they weren't going to do it in stages.....but i don't know?

I've tried 4g, 3g and 1x and keep getting No New Software Update Available.

I don't know what the deal is when even people that are rooted say they are getting the notification.

I don't have task killer or juice defender installed.

You have an earlier version. I have not completed the Gingerbread update so I am still on FroYo. Software version 1.70.605.0

I am getting the No Updates Available also. Like before, hope don't have same troubles getting update. Will give a few days to see.

What is the overall reaction to GB? Legitimate kudos or complaints.
