Abejero, I also got the GB update on September 28 around 6 am that morning (I was getting ready for work). The only problem that I have noticed is the lack of the notifications when you get a voicemail. I was one of the people that called Verizon and let them know about the voicemail notification problem and within 24 hours after the call, the GB update was pulled.

If the arrival of the Ginerbread OS for HTC Thunderbolt is anything like the "Icecream Sandwich" which all but NEVER showed up, I'm not really holding my breath! In fact, I'm now trying to get rid of the HTC Thunderbolt. Nobody wants to be the very last guy to get the latest technology, once it's no longer "the latest"!!
My front facing camera still doesn't work
My headphone jack does NOT recognize the volume adjustments or the mic in my headset earphones
I'm still running the OS that was in-effect back in January of this year!
I'm now out of my 30-day's (15 for Verizon, cheapskates!) to return the phone, before I find out that whoever is responsible for delivering these updates for the HTC is severely dropping the ball.

Well, the Thunderbolt should get ICS as well, as it was stated that in theory all android 2.3 devices should be able to handle it. The Thunderbolt is also a popular phone, so I don't see why they would not update it to ICS, but HTC did say they are considering it, so I guess it is up to them how much time they want to put into the phone's update, as it is capable of running it, especially if the Nexus S can run it, but this will be the first phone upgraged to ICS shortly after the Nexus drops on Verizon, which should be on the 10th of November from what I've heard.

This doesn't seem correct, since ICS will require a dual core processor for one and also the statement wasn't in regards to any device that can handle 2.3 will run ICS, the report was directed if the device came out stock with 2.3 because most devices are upgradable 2 OS revisions on average....
TB has went from 2.1 Cupcake, 2.2 Froyo, 2.2.1 Froyo Revision and 2.3.4 Gingerbread so I really do not see ICS hitting the TB..

No, the only ones available is build 2.3.4 with Sense 3.5 and that is still work in progress..

Let me add that if this will run on the Thunderbolt it would be nice to see but I also think Sense may be the set back on HTC developing a version with Sense for the older devices like the TB. We will have to wait and see..

Android 1.5 was Cupcake and Android 2.1 was Eclair.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Sorry should have said "when" they do have it out, which shouldnt be too long of a wait. At least it will be shorter than waiting for HTC and VZ to get GB on the Tbolt fully functional.
