Email with attachments hanging in Outbox (Gmail)

I've noticed lately that when I attach photos and send through Gmail, the emails hang in the Outbox.  This happens both when navigating through Gallery and doing a send there, or initiating a new email through Gmail and attaching a photo.

Anyone else?

Data Connection usually hangs from time to time, try app call Reset Connection from Market, it usually helps for me.

I think I cleared a similar situation by pressing the clear data button in the application info and therefore causing a full resync with the gmail server.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I found with further troubleshooting that it is most likely a flaky 4G connection.  Moving to a different location and/or toggling airplane mode seems to have fixed it.
