<Comments removed to comply with the .> Sprinkled amongst all of the ICS postings are a couple of valid questions and concerns, such as the one by Jay968 regarding a service that is not working (hotspot) as it should. In many other discussions regarding a situation such as this, a member of Verizon actually responds with helpful suggestions. But because Jay968 has referenced ICS as hoping to fix this problem, Verizon won't touch the topic with a ten foot poll because it would break the code of silence currently in place. So, yes, I think there are a lot of redundant ICS posts for the Rezound and talk of doing things that "violate the TOS", and I understand the frustration and respect the users' need to vent in the absence of substantive information. Yes, HTC claims the update is scheduled for June/July, but since HTC isn't going to push that update, I don't place much stock in that. Hence, the users like Jay968 are stuck between a rock and a hard place of not knowing if the issues they face will be resolved.
By the way Baker, I'm not trying to be critical of you or your post. It just seems that a number of valid issues are being pushed aside in this whole ICS where is it/just wait for it discussion.

Actions speak louder than words.
I just set up a petition at change.org. Maybe if we present them with a thousand signatures, that will show Verizon that we want it released and we want it now.
We've waited log enough.

Found another reason for us to demand our Ice Cream Sandwich.
Until Verizon gives us what they promised so long ago, we can't use the new Chrome Browser.
Google Chrome is available as soon as your device receives the coveted ICS Update.
Come on Verizon... give us our Ice Cream Sandwich.

Sorry Jay, I tried to bring a little more attention to your post, but it appears that my posting was removed. It appears that the hotspot issues you are encountering don't warrant the attention of Verizon. Have you tried directly contacting support? That might be the best route as I think this particular group isn't very productive at the moment.
And yes Verizon, I have tasted my own medicine, and it is bitter.

I agree with everything I've seen so far Jay. Some communication from Verizon would be much appreciated. Would make me less aggravated waiting for the update. I am a loyal Verizon customer, have been for more then 5 years now. I also have an account that includes 5 smartphones. Some kind of communication about why the delay or at least an acknowledgement of the delay and possible frustrations customers are experiencing would be nice. I also noticed on Verizon's support page for the Rezound that it says "software update-coming soon!". Hopefully we will see the update within the most recent promised time of mid June to mid July.

Next question? How can I get my money back for a device that has a feature that just plain does not work? I have had it past the exchange period.
