4.4.2 Update loses settings

I just got the update to 4.4.2 and my HTC one is now missing all the old ringtones and wallpaper, and I cannot seem to recover them.  Is there any recourse?  I don't like the new looks or sounds.

I would be happy to assist you. Were these ringtones you downloaded? Where did you get the wallpaper? Were these originally loaded from the factory?

My old standard ringtones that came with the phone are gone I work on call and need my old ring tones back

I'm sorry your old ringtones are missing krisfromtampa. I know its frustrating when changes to your device are things you utilize every day. I recommend downloading some ringtones from our app store.

It was the standard ringtones that came with my HTC one why would those change

Oh I see! Sometimes with the software updates the ringtones can change like this did in this case. However, we are unable to bring them back as the new software overrides them.
