3G and LTE Dropouts

For several days now I have had terrible 3G and LTE coverage in the CT area. I have tried restarting, putting the phone in airplane mode and switching back as well as toggling to CDMA/LTE options. Has there been reported mobile data issues lately? Will this type of thing be fixed when 4.0 rolls out for the TBolt?

Thanks,

Are you near the New London and Windham counties area? They are expanding the 4G LTE network in that area. It might also be the cause of the data connection issues.

I just found another press release for the Danbury, CT region.

It is harder to search and sort these news releases then it used to be. 😞

Hi Beesee

The problems you have described with your Thunderbolt would be very frustrating! Let's look into this together.

Did this start after an application was downloaded? Please power down the device, then remove and reinsert the battery and sim card and retest.

If the issue persists, please power the device in safe mode and retest. Here's a link for safe mode: http://support.verizonwireless.com/clc/devices/knowledge_base.html?id=40136&sayt=safe mode thunderbolt*

Let me know if this helps, if not I would be glad to further troubleshoot with you.

Thank you

Joel @ VZW,

Could you or some other customer "service" representative offer some honest answers as to why thousands of Thunderbolt users have lost data?  We're tired of the "cut & paste" answers that you all seem to pull from some Word document.  It would be very much appreciated.
