text message status

I've had my palm pre plus for a couple months now and I love it; however, there are a couple things I wish existed. Mostly, is there a way to confirm that a text message has gone through?? All my other phones gave me a check mark with any verizon to verizon text message (when it went through.) Thanks!

After hitting the send button, the message appears up in the conversation grayed out.  After a few seconds it turns to black.  I think this is the confirmation you're looking for.

Yup, if it turns Black its done.
