I agree their customer service experience is horrible. To join a promo with Autopay, I would receive credit for each line.
I had a balance past due and 2 different reps explained to me, once I signed up for autopay, it would pay for both invoices and bring me to current. I signed up or Auto Pay and schedued it for 6 days before my due date.
For 2 days, I'm being called by automated callers about an urgent message regarding my account. Then, threatening text messages that my service will be cut if I don't bring the account up to date.
Called and wasted hours due to high call volume. Called back the next day during work and each rep I spoke to tried to get me to draft a payment on top of the Auto Pay. I refused drafting a 3rd payment as autopay will take care of both.
By having to call in for this, the rep was not only rude/unhelpful, but charged my account $7 for just taking my call.
Convincing me to setup Autopay when Verizon's system has overcharged me constantly is really foolish, but I'm trying to save as Verizon is very expensive. All this greif just to sign up for auto pay is a big waste of my time.
