I want to set up the phone app on my Pixel 3 to remember my voicemail pin, modifying the dialer to use *86,xxxx# (xxxx being my PIN).
This works fine, but if the phone gets restarted the number will reset to *86.
Every single time.
I had a long support session with Google TS and they say it's something Verizon is doing, and Verizon TS says it is a Google?Android issue. Both agree than once I save the voicemail number (with the pause and my PIN) it should continue to be saved. But it does not.
Has been this way since I purchased the phone in February.
If anyone knows how to fix this please share.
