I can confirm that uninstalling the app resolves the issue.
Interestingly, I had no issues for the first 12 hours or so with Android 10 (I upgraded within hours after the release). The 'MyVerizon' app was updated about 12 hours after my upgrade to Android 10 ...
So it seems possible that this is a 'MyVerizon' app issue not an Android issue. Would be curious to know if anyone is having phone issues on Android 9 (or earlier) who have the 'MyVerizon' app installed ...

Ditto. But the patch to fix this was suppose to have been released, problem still exists as of today (9/10/2019).
Yet another reason why I just sign into my account through the website even on my phone.
