How do I unlock the screen without knowing the pattern? My daughter died and I really need to get into her phone.

My daughter has the Pixel 2 and she recently passed away.  The police tell me they can't get into her phone without knowing the lock pattern.  HELP!!  Any ideas??  Thanks!
