ladybriann - Everyone has given great advice with regards to trying to get your Razr to accept saving pictures to the SD card. I would recommend unmounting and then remounting the SD card. Do this by going to >System Settings>Storage>Scroll down and select Unmount SD Card. Go ahead and remove the SD card>Wait about 10 seconds>Reinsert the card>Select Mount SD Card if it does not mount automatically.

From there, please try and change the settings within the Camera App, and pick and choose the option to save your photos to the SD card.

Let us know if this helps take care of this issue for you. We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you ladybriann, and everyone that has participated in this thread.

It should be an option with the camera settings.  Open the camera app and select the settings to open the available options.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Go into your camera and open settings.  Open storage location and change to SD card.  Smiley Happy

I've have done that and it still is saving to the internal storage.  When I go into camera settings it even says, "save to SD card" yet it its STILL saving to the internal storage.  Smiley Sad

Let me see if I understand you correctly: (BTW I have a RAZR M, I'm not sure these instructions are the same for all RAZRs)

Camera > Menu (three bars) > Gear (Settings) > Storage Location > SD card, you touch that item..  Then when you recheck, the "SD card" has a blue background (selected) and then you touch the back button until you are out of the camera app.  Pictures are still stored to your internal memory?  How are you checking where your pictures are stored?  Are you taking pictures or videos?  Are you having problems storing anything else on your external SDcard?

I;m having issues w/my sd card too. I have a Razr M and I can see the card in my settings but whenever I download songs, take pics or add apps they all save to me interal storage and not the sd card. I've been all over my phone trying to figure that out and I don't see anything that lets me set it that way.  I've been able to move some files to sd card but they're not going there automatically.  I've been researching this for a couple of weeks and I've seen some comments about the Razr not having a "root file" or something along those lines.  Does that sound like anything anyone has heard?  I've heard of some apps that are suppose to help like es explore?!  I downloaded that app and it seems to be no help. Sometimes this stuff is just too complicated to figure out or I'm dumber then I thought..lol ,,,and you have to do TONS of research...at least I've had too. I guess I'm just gonna have to call Verizon.

I dont know much about the M, but a lot of confusion with some phones come down to how it is labeled. My phone will show the sdcard storage with that being the internal. You might want to look for sdcard ext which is your your removable sd card.

I went to a Verizon workshop today and we did unmount the SD card,  Also, discovered it was saving in a different folder on the SD card so I thought it was saving on the internal memory.  Problem resolved , thanks for all the help everyone. Smiley Happy
