need help on my razrs....

I have gone thru tons of tech support over the phone. My two razrs keep dropping calls and the batteries are only lasting just over an hour and a half.... i have gone through tech support over and over and over and have even had replacements. If i would have known these phones were junk we never would have got them.... i had one tech support tell me that they would switch me out to a different model, i told them i would call them back so that my kids could decide between the models that were given as choices. I give them a call back to give them the models that we chose and the lady tells me that we are stuck with our razrs and she has no notes on any tech telling us that we could switch models... REALLY??? I am switching to sprint if i cant get this resolved...

The original Droid RAZRs aren't known for super battery capacity, but 1 1/2 hours is a bit extreme under normal conditions.  Is this everywhere you use them or in one location.Your phones may be constantly searching for a signal if you are using them in a poor/marginal signal area.  Go to Settings > About phone > Status > Network type and Strength.  What are the network types and strengths displayed there.  Also if your children are playing games at full screen brightness for hours this may be a contributing factor too.

Call back and talk to a different support rep and explain the problem.  They may reach the same conclusion to swap out your phones as the first one did.

I understand how important it is to have reliable devices for your family deftonesjt! The Razr is one of the most advanced and reliable handsets. Battery life will definitely fluctuate based on usage. If the device is replaced under manufacturer warranty, it will be the same make and model. Have you reviewed battery saving tips with your kids? Here are some great tips! http://tiny.cc/hvy9ow

Yes we have tried everything. And i mean everything. We basically leave

the phones on the charger when we need to use them. Just real tired of it

and i cant believe verizon wont put us in something different. Its very

frustrating. We pay over 300 bucks for our phone lines and basically we

can only use two out of the four lines because the two razrs are worthless.

Have the RAZRs ever lasted more than one and a half hours even when new? If you suspect failing batteries and do not want to try yet another replacement from Verizon, Motorola has a web page for contacting them about battery replacement.

If all else fails you may want to think about selling these two RAZRs on Ebay or Craigslist and replace them with RAZR MAXXs or another phone with better battery life.

When you got the replacement phones, did you load apps on them? Have you tried running the phone in SAFE MODE to see if it changes the battery life? This would eliminate any outside app, and strictly make it work as a phone.

I know that is what you said, but EVERYTHING is a subjective term, and I wanted to see if you had tried it. The results of running the phones in SAFE MODE was the same outcome I would assume then?
