just recently been having issues with the my verizon app on android on my droid razr. I enter in my username and password the same as it is when using it on the my verizon website and everytime i get a "username and password do not match". I have no goofy characters in the username or password, all lowercase letters or numers.
this app worked fine up until a few weeks ago. now it won't let me login. I login fine on the website, then when i enter in the exact same login creds on the app it won't connect.
tried a phone wipe, tried reinstalling the app, nothing. keeps giving me login errors.

I would call customer service. I think there have been some authentication problems.

I am having the same issue. I have tried the same things and still get the same error message that my username and password "do not match". I basically give up at this point. I posted a question on here several days ago and nobody has replied, not users or verizon support. This "community" is about as useful as the app.

Hi Nathan630,
I know how important it is to access your My Verizon account information and I understand that getting a wrong password error message can be very frustrating. I did have a login issue in the past and I was able to resolve by updating the application. To update locate the Play Store application and access it, then press Menu>My Apps>MyVerizon>Update. Then test and your application should accept your credentials.
I trust that updating the application will resolve the authentication issue. Keep us posted of results so that our forum members and/or our social media team can further assist you if necessary.

I fixed this issue over the weekend by creating a sub-account with my mobile number and I am able to login using the app and widget. For some reason, using our shared family account yields a username/password error, but using newly created sub-accounts for each mobile numbers works fine. Not sure why our family account no longer works - it did in February.

I was told to create a sub-account using my mobile number as the login username on an unrelated issue to this. Upon creating a new account with my number, the app now logins and I can see our account details. If you already have an account with your mobile number than my solution probably won't work for you. But now my account login uses my mobile number (with area code) and it seems to work now.

I think before I'd create sub-accounts, if you didn't want to call Verizon, go to Menu>Manage Apps>All and select your Verizon mobile app. Choose to clear data and cache and try again.

Im sorry but how exactly did you create this sub account? Do you need to do it on the website or can it be straight from the app? I dont see an option to perform this.
I think this is probably my only chance at having this thing work. Thanks in advance.

SallyC this app was doin fine till the June 1 Update an after that it went to He-- after that i have tried several times Logging in with User Name & Password that Worked Great Before this Update i Have Cleared the Cache and Data with No Avail it got to i Said to Heck with it an Un-installed it and i'm using the previous Version..
