Go into Settings/Apps and select the apps you want to move to SD card...if they can be moved it will have an option "move to internal storage", which is the SD card.

thxxxx a lot.. you were much more helpful than the gal i spoke to via verizon on the internet.. that wasn’t able to help me at all… thx….a lot Soccer

The Android OS version on the Droid Maxx doesn't support moving applications to the SD card if there is even an SD slot on the DROID Maxx.

thx Ann, actually there is a 16 gig card in the phone.. but I cant get a larger one per best buy.
