Menu button > settings > About Phone > android version

it just says Android 4.0.4?  Is that ics? 

Also, is there a way to knw which apps are giving me unwanted ads?

Yes, that is ICS.

Search the Play Store for Lookout Ad detector. Install it and run it.

I am unable to connect to my home wi-fi....I have done a soft reset, turned off the phone, and used the pin from the access point.  It worked just yesterday...now nothing..any suggestions?
