i have a razr that automatically updated to ice cream sundae and now I get internet pages that freeze, missed phone calls with no notification and texts that don't have any notification. I never had any problems with the gingerbread software. I called tech support, and they say you can fix problems but at the store they say the only way to fix is get a different phone.Does anyone know of  any ways to fix any of these issues.

Maybe you should have upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich instead.

+ 1 what Jim said;   It sounds Like you need to do a F.D.R. Tech Services can Walk you through One but you will need to be on a Separate Device so the Tech can assist you through it..

Lol the store said that because they wanted commission from selling you a new phone, factory reset will remove the ice cream sandwich update, and everything else.

That's incorrect. An FDR will not and can not, 'remove' ICS. It does however remove any apps and configuration that the user makes...

uhm...you'll still be on ICS.  All of the data and settings will just be reset.

It's true FDR will not get you back gingerbread. Adobe won't support flash for ICS. Until developers are up to par with html5, I wish my Ice Cream Sandwich would just melt away. LOL

reboot a few times, do a manual sync on email a time or to & see if things improve.

If you do a search on this forum for "Factory Reset", there are several messages on it telling you exactly how to do a factory reset. Just type "factory reset" in the search box on top. And to chime in, no, a factory reset will NOT get you back to Gingerbread. It will get you back to a phone you just removed from the box. However, all the data you have stored on your SD card will not be removed, they are safe. To remove all the data from the card, you have to reformat it.
