I recently discovered that I cannot uninstall pre-installed applilcations. I am planning on starting a campaign to fight this issue. Starting with a complaint to the Ohio State attorney general or better business bureau. Anyone interested in joining in on the fun? I am tired of this facistic approach to paying for a service that surprises you wilth restrictions and limitations that are unreasonable and diminish the product I am paying for. Every application I can't remove takes space and other resources that limit my phone.

Well i hate to break it to ya but what your trying to do has been hashed over since Verizon started selling smart phones. Pre-installed apps are just some thing that comes with your phone. I have 2 of them an had them for over a year. There a Droid X an Droid Incredible both of them have ( pre-installed apps ) an there is now way that Verizon is going to do away with them any time Soon... So you'll just have to get use to them. Sorry!

And I have time and money so I will explore the legal side of things. I

Well the one side I don't think you have considered, the preinstalled apps is how the service providers offset the price of the equipment and service and if they totally discontinue with this process they will have to figure out another method to make up for the lost revenue which would most likely lead to the service and devices prices going up... So end the end you would be paying more for what you have now.
The apps really do not effect the devices performance or effect the amount of storage on the device because it is stored in a area the isn't accessible by a average user..
Also if you read the web others has stepped into the situation you are considering without any real change.

I can tell ya what the Attorney General is going to say...."I have bigger issues to worry about". And I doubt you will get that much.
These apps do not use memory that you would use and do not use resources unless you use the apps.
