Since updating Android OS to version 2.3.5 I have not had any function in my wi-fi radio. System attempts to scan and never recognizes ANY wifi networks.
Tried entering/ managing setup manually, but network is listed "Out of Range" even when network is confirmed up by many other devices.
Any ideas, patches or advice?

The obvious painful advice is: Try a hard-reset. If that doesn't do it, it might be time to call VZW support and get a replacement.
When you installed the update did it appear to install correctly, no error messages or anything?
