Why dies my battery discharge so quickly

My razr maxx hd battery will drain out in just a few hours, so I have to keep it plugged in most of the time.  I can't figure out what is draining it out.  Has anyone had similar problems?

Red74,

This sounds alarming that your battery is dying so quickly.  Please go to your Settings/Battery. This will provide you what is using your battery the most.
