I can't get music to play on my Droid Turbo 2. I took it back to the store, and they could not get it to play either. I tried wma and wav formats. Also used Google Play and a 3rd party app. What Now?

According to the user manual page 43-44:

• File types: Your phone can play MP3, M4A, AAC, AAC+, MIDI, and WAV files

I might try MP3, as it is the most easily recognized format.  If the phone will not play that, you might look into a warranty replacement or defective exchange.

You said you tried a third-party app; have you tried Poweramp Music Player (Trial) - Android Apps on Google Play ?  It works well on an original Turbo for .wma files (that phone doesn't support them, either).
