Why can't I connect to the internet through links in my e-mail?

After a system update, hyperlinks don't work from my email program.  I have a Droid Turbo 2. Powering off and back on didn't help.

Try removing the account from the phone and adding it back again.

I tried that right away. It did NOT help.

I guess I'll answer my own post in case anyone else experiences this problem with their Droid Turbo 2.  I ended up having to download a new email app, and I deleted the Email program that came with the phone.  It was pretty worthless anyway.
