What the Bionic should have been...RAZR#1

Member
So I got the RAZR phone and I was doing the initial setup and as soon as my Gmail account synced everything I was amaze of all the things the phone pulled. It pulled photos, music, videos, and i had not yet installed my old 32 gig memory card on the phone. Another cool thing is that when I installed the memory card I was looking at my music, and WOWWW I saw that all my 2000 songs had a cover album. How **bleep** cool is that. No phone I've had has ever done that. Not even the iphone. Everyday I find something cool and new about this phone. I have to say that Verizon should give a special discount to all the people who got the Bionic. This is what the Bionic should have been. I have that phone as my work phone and its a total piece of **bleep**. This Razr is everything a phone should be. I'm really happy with this phone. I love the large keyboard for my chubby thumbs.....lol.

lol screw the discount...they should let us opt out of our contract...the device (Bionic) and the 'blazing fast 4G' network is an absolute joke! the only other suggestion (and what i am trying to accomplish) is allow us to downgrade to a 3G device if thats the path we choose. After talking to a tech support rep who admittingly said 1) the 4G network is not fully implemented, and 2) the 4G towers sometimes cannot handle the bandwith, I had to shell out ANOTHER several hundred dollars for an Incredible 2. Its unfortunate Verizon managed to take even more of my money while leaving me completely unsatisfied, but I am very excited to soon have a device that actually works!

Thats cool that you like the phone so much, always good to hear someone who is satisfied with their device. Me though, I am not amused by syncing and album art, I rely on the data connection obtained, receiving/keeping calls and texts and maintiainting a consistent signal....neither the Bionic or RAZR could not meet those requirements. Needless to say, atleast where I live and travel (Phoenix, LA and Santa Barbara), despite 4G supposedly being available, it does not work. Guess thats my bad for believing the hype and not performing the research I should have.

Either way, I am happy the device is working for you...maybe its a sign of things eventually getting better. Enjoy that RAZR man :smileyhappy:
