If Verizon had not promoted the Turbo as being one of the first phones to receive the newest Android Lollipop software, I would not be as upset.
When you sell something with the promise of an upgrade in the very near future and months and months pass without any explanation it deteriorates your relationship with the customer.
This appears to be a clear case of False Advertising.
No attempt has been made to address the customer concerns of not getting that which was paid for.
Why is it OK for Verizon to ignore our requests for a status update on the release of new software?
I would like to hear comments on this.

It has always been Verizon's practice to announce updates only within a couple of days from being released. Once it is ready to be released, Verizon releases it. Until it is ready, there isn't really a solid date available for when it will be ready.
FCC would like to know about the "false" advertising.
