Update on 7/8/12

My droid razr notified me that I had an update last night and it would take about 15 minutes and I couldn't receive calls during that time.  It started the update and then sometime during it lost internet signal.  Now my phone only lets me make phone calls.  Can't access the home screen or pull down for notifications or anything.  Any suggestions??

I would try to restart the phone first. If you can also not restart the phone the normal way, you could try a "Soft Reset" of holding down the power and volume down button for up to 10 seconds.

Just did that and it went right back to the phone screen.  I'm thinking I'm going to have to take it to the verizon store, maybe the update didn't completely install so I lost everything?

There is also a way to do a hard reset. If you follow the alternate method, it may clear things up, but be aware that doing a factory reset will wipe the phone as if you just got it from Verizon. Any apps that you have installed, you will have to re-install, and hopefully your contacts are backed up somewhere. (Verizon or Google).
