How do you turn swype back on after this recent sofware upgrade?

Settings > Language & input > Keyboard & Input Methods > Swype
Check mark it and use the gear to set it up.

That's the problem it won't let me select it

You might have to select Swype as the default keyboard first before you can access the settings for the application.
At least that's how SwiftKey keyboard has been requiring me to set it up.

Hey Tdebeliso. I am glad to hear that the software update went through smoothly on your Droid Razr Maxx. The swype keyboard is my favorite and I would be more than happy to assist you in getting in turned back on.
Ann154 is correct, you have to change your default keyboard to swype before you can enable it. To change the default keyboard go to settings>language and keyboard>default>choose swype as the default keyboard.
