11-11-11  The Motorola Droid Razr XT912 was released to Verizon in the US; I picked myself up one.

Apparently at that time it came in two sizes? 16gig and a 32gig

Now believe me I've been back and forth.  I asked Verizon why my profle was showing 32gig when to my understanding all I had was a 16gig device and I also thought it had something to do with SD card....

The Razr XT912 had only 1 size 16gig and in order to go to 32 it was dependant on the SD card???

Anyways about a month ago I called Asurion, after having the device a precise year when the screen broke, to get a replacement device.

Tonight my Verizon profile says Droid Razr 16gig.  After re-calling Verizon they said my device was in fact a 32gig one. Now apparently my replacement device must have a new cicruit board cause when I go into Storage (under settings) it actually does say "16gig total space"

Anyways I'm about to call Asurion tomorrow evening but I wanted to get your input....

Was there two model versions of Droid Razr(1)??  The 16gig vs 32gig?  And its mainly used for application intalls?

It's my understanding that the only difference between the 16GB and 32GB designations was, one came with a 16GB SDcard (16 + 16 = 32), the other did not.  Both had the same amount of internal memory, 16GB.  Shortly after introduction and prior to release of the Maxx, Verizon cut the price on the Razr and eliminated the SDcard.  All later Razrs were called 16GB.  They are the same phone.  If someone with a better memory wants to jump in here please do.
