Does anyone know how to create a shortcut for a contact/s?

Select the APPs and then scroll over to the widgets. Long press on a APP or Widget to put them in a large open space and then drag them where you want them. A little backwards from the old way.

Do you mean like the ones in the Favorites Widget?

Not sure about that… Used to use a Droid Pro. You could just place a contact on one of the home screens by touching/holding on the screen until the menu came up, then select Shortcut/Contacts and select the contact to place on the screen. With the Razr, the only options that come up when you touch/hold a home screen is the wallpaper menu.
