I have figured out how to load my mp3s into the internal ringtone folder (rather than the SD card) thanks to tips on this forum. Now that I have my ringtones loaded from my Droid 2, I don't know how to set individual ringtones for my contacts. I have been able to set individual ringtones for each contact on every phone since just before 3G existed. Now I can't find a setting for this; I looked both under Settings>Sound>Phone Ringtone (which only allows you to set the Default Ringtone). I also looked under settings for Contacts and see nothing there pertaining to setting ringtones for contacts. Does anyone have any insight to offer?

If you have a contact open and press the menu button, do you get a pop-up with available choices, such as Set Ringtone or All Calls to Voicemail? That's how it works on some other Motorola phones, so it may be worth a try (I don't have the Razr M, so am not sure).

From the User Guide (manual):
Tap Apps > People [then]
• To edit a contact, tap it [the contact] , tap Menu > Edit, then tap a
field to edit or tap [the picture] to choose the contact’s picture.
• To set a special ringtone for the contact, tap it [the contact], then
tap Menu > Set ringtone.
Note: Menu is the 3 Dots in the upper right hand corner.

Goto: https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/product_page/faqs/p/30,6720,8577
and look at Manuals on the left hand side of the screen. Download a PDF copy.
