Robo Killer service now in force?

This morning I received a one-ring call.  When I checked the number, it was fully given - but there was a Spam icon beside it.  Same thing happened again with another number about 45 minutes later.

Is this part of Verizon's new Robo-call blocking I've been hearing about?  If so, I'm really happy thus far!

In order for this to be effective, it would seem to need to be Verizon SERVICE-based rather than being cell-phone model-dependent.  If so, does it mean my wife's not-smart LG flip-phone would also have spam calls just ring once and have a Spam identifier noted?

Thanks for any related info on this service!
