When you get your phone, Verizon pre loads your voice mail number as *86.
At least they did on mine.
If I use the voicemail icon, the phone automatically dials * 86. The problem being that we all have a passcode to enter and this process will not allow you to edit the Voicemail contact set up by Verizon to add a passcode.
Any ideas on how to remedy this ?
I don't want to keep having to manually enter the passcode each time.
Thanks.

Tap Settings>>Call Settings>>Voicemail Settings>>in the dialogue that comes up you can enter in a couple commas after the *86, then your PIN and after that you can put in a #1 if you want it to automatically play the first VM.

I have already done that and it only works for the voice mail speed dial # 1. When I open phone, select dialer, then press 1 and hold it, it dials voice mail and dials my pass code. that I get.
However, I have a voice mail "app" icon on my phone and when selected there's a button to dial voice mail. It is here where changing the dial in is not changed. It remains as *86.

That doesn't work for me. No biggie entering the password but it would be nice.
